I love all the signs around the area directing folks to the Market. And they are up all week-not just the Market days.

Hi,

What a fun year at the Market! My husband and I go weekly and love seeing all the progress and growth. The website's great. I'd love to see an addition -- a list of how to contact those vendors who are still selling their products through the winter. This would include the guy who sold the dog bones -- we need some for our pup this winter!! And the woman who sold the honey products. If vendors are willing to be contacted through the winter, maybe contact info. could be included on this website.
Thanks!

Actually, the proposal was for the Watermark and the City to partner to relocate the Market to our parking lot across from Watermark. Watermark stayed committed to the project throughout. However, the match the City was planning to provide was to come from a State Grant (Waterways Commission). After several attempts, the City was unsuccessful in getting the State to agree to let us use the funds for the Farmers’ Market development (we tied the development to the Marina improvements, but they wouldn’t accept that). That is why the project didn’t move forward.

Hi,
I like what you have done so far to the Market. I also like you websit. I have one question that maybe you can answer or redirect me to the right source to answer it. What stopped the offer from the owner of Watemark Lofts to privide $350,000 to move the Market to their property next to Marina on Western Ave accross from Watermark Lofts, and operate it for 10 years and then turn over full ownership to the City of Muskegon. It seems to me the best place for the Market.

      Thanks, Howard

Great new website! The Muskegon Farmer's
Market has really advanced the last two years,
the billboards are gorgeous too. I went to the market Saturday and it was packed. Other than
the parking it is truly a Super market!
