What we sell: apples, peaches, plums, apricots and nectarines.

Business started: My father, Seymour Rider, came to Michigan from Wisconsin and bought the farm we live on now. He farmed his whole life here. He sold at the Market for many years. Over the years all of our children and most of our grandchildren worked in the orchards and at the Market. Now Bob and Verlie have stalls #11 & 12 mid-July to end of November.

Time to hang up our picking buckets and call it a day for us at the farmers market. Due to two severe frosts in May, we lost all of our crops this year, so decided this is the time to head for retirement. Thanks to all of our many loyal friends at the market. It has been a wonderful time for us and we are so grateful for all of you. So we will just see you at the market.
